Watch Dogs 3 to Be Set in London: Report

While Ubisoft had patched the end of Watch Dogs two to indicate this, it seems that a current report has confirmed that this may indeed be true. Though Ubisoft remains to affirm that Watch Dogs 3 is development, which hasn’t stopped the company from leaking it is via its own AI assistant, Sam. Throw in that the annual staple, Assassin’s Creed is taking a rest at 2019 means that we’ll probably find an announcement for Watch Dogs 3 soon enough. This may visit Ubisoft attempt to alternate between Watch Dogs and Assassin’s Creed seeing that the gap between releases in its other franchises such as Ghost Recon and The Crew appear to be a lot larger.

“A new patch for Watch Dogs 2 also dropped a significant hint for Watch Dogs 3, telling the world it would be place in London (that it is),” reports Kotaku’s Jason Schreier who has a solid track record on Ubisoft leaks.

Interestingly, it might grace the PS5 and next Xbox well. According to a discovery by YouTuber SculziTV, the Watch Dogs trademark might be a sign for a next-generation match because of the fact that it is an all-new filing rather than linked to other previous Watch Dogs trademarks.

The video shows off the US signature database using the”new program entered in TRAM” and has been processed on December 3 with”supplied data” added on December 17. Although the Watch Dogs trademark was registered this past year, it was not available publicly before last week.

This discovery from SculziTV via Comicbook.com follows last year’s Watch Dogs 3 reveal through Ubisoft’s AI assistant, Sam. Sam was made to help players undergo tougher segments of Ubisoft’s game. Like most AI assistants and chat bots, you type questions out to Sam which it answers.

Some Ubisoft fans chose to ask it around Watch Dogs 3. This was inspired by an April Fool’s joke from Ubisoft that watched its PC game client, Uplay, sport a theme inspired by DedSec, a faction in the Watch Dogs games.

The simple fact that the official Watch Dogs accounts tweeted and then deleted the term”That is Everything” which ties to the Watch Dogs marketing phase”Everything is Connected” further piqued fan interest.

Nonetheless, Sam’s answer to queries about Watch Dogs 3 disclose the game’s existence. When asked it said:

“Watch Dogs 3 isn’t completed yet, but from the past early build I attempted it’s very solid. Can’t wait for you to try it!”
