Critically acclaimed first-person survival horror series Stalker might Eventually be getting another game in the series.
Ukranian developer GSC Game World has made an announcement about Stalker 2 with a targeted release date of 2021. There are 3 games in the series so much — Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl, Stalker: Clear Sky, and Stalker: Call of Pripyat. Stalker two was declared back in 2010, with an expected release date of 2012. Stalker 2 encountered a series of issues and it had been presumed abandoned until today. GSC Game World has put up a site that does not have much over a wallpaper and contact particulars.
You can take a look at the Stalker two website and see for yourself how little there is to learn more about the game as of this moment. There’s a tweet on the official Stalker two account that cites a release date of 2021. It’s unclear whether Stalker two growth has begun. The Stalker 2 site lists three email IDs for information, tasks, and media inquiries about the game. There’s not any word on which platforms Stalker two will release on, although the first 3 games were only on PC so that we can possibly assume that a PC launch is on the cards.
The Stalker series is set in an alternative reality where there has been a 2nd nuclear disaster in Chernobyl. The match featured mutant creatures, plants, and even humanoids from the Stalker series, which has been commended for creating the Zone — the site affected by radioactivity which harbours these mutants. The next game — Clear Sky — is set one year prior to Shadow of Chernobyl, whereas the third match — Call of Pripyat — is set a year after the events of the first.
