Ahead of Xiaomi’s official launching event, alleged live pictures of the Xiaomi Mi 9 have leaked online, which provide us a glimpse in the upcoming smartphone’s design. The leaked set of photos indicates the Xiaomi Mi 9 will game a waterdrop notch. Additionally, Xiaomi has also teased that the company will exhibit the Mi 9 in MWC 2019.
Starting with all the alleged Xiaomi Mi 9 leaked pictures that recently surfaced on Twitter, the pictures reveal a device sporting a blue paintjob using a slick back finish. The vertically-stacked triple rear cameras are also shown up close from the leaked images and appear like the design on the smartphone’s official promotional poster for the Chinese industry. According to leaks, the Xiaomi Mi 9 is expected to include a triple rear camera setup consisting of a principal 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor, a 12-megapixel secondary detector, and a 3D ToF sensor. The unit can be rumoured to come equipped with a 24-megapixel Sony IMX576 front camera.
The leaked pictures also reveal a waterdrop notch, which falls in line with the preceding rumours about the telephone that have also tipped a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen in addition to an in-display fingerprint sensor onto the flagship smartphone.
