Huawei Y5 Lite Android Go Smartphone With 18:9 Display, Quad-Core Processor Launched: Price, Specifications

Huawei Y5 Lite Was Introduced as the company’s second Android Go smartphone.
The new model sits following the Y3 (2018) which was launched back in May last year since Huawei’s first Android Go version. Among other entry specifications, the Huawei Y5 Lite comes with an 18:9 display panel and is accompanied by an 8-megapixel rear camera detector. The smartphone also has 1GB of RAM and a quad core MediaTek SoC. Huawei has also provided Android 8.1 Oreo (Go variant ) on the Y5 Lite, though some users might be anticipating Android 9 Lite (Go edition). The smartphone has formally been launched in Pakistan.
The Huawei Y5 Lite cost in Pakistan has been put in PKR 16,499 (approximately Rs. 8,200) for its lone 1GB RAM/ 16GB storage version. The smartphone comes in Black and Blue color options.

Details about the global launch of this Huawei Y5 Lite are yet be announced formally. But considering its cost, the smart phone is very likely to arrive in emerging markets like India and Indonesia in the coming future.

Under the hood, there’s a quad core MediaTek MT6739 SoC, paired with 1GB of RAM.

Huawei has supplied an 8-megapixel camera sensor in the rear of the Y5 Lite that supports a panorama mode and comes along with an LED flash. The rear detector has an f/2.0 aperture and autofocus (stage detection autofocus). To get selfies, the smartphone includes a 5-megapixel front camera sensor along with an f/2.2 aperture. The front-facing sensor also supports a Selfie Toning attribute.

The Huawei Y5 Lite includes 16GB of inbuilt storage that’s expandable via microSD card (around 256GB). In terms of connectivity, the smart phone includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors on board comprise an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and a proximity sensor.
